Taking parts of mp3s

Post by TheDozen »

Are there programs that let you make excerpts of mp3s so that you can record a small part of a song? I am hoping to take about 45 seconds from each of 5 different ones and wondered what program could do this.

Thanks,

Sound Forge is best, but it's pricey.

A cheaper solution is Cool Edit 2000: http://www.syntrillium.com/cooledit
