And one of those regrets is that she married Kurt.

Music lost a great talent when Kurt died.Say what you will about Nirvana but I never get tired of listening to thier albums.
Kurt Cobain and Tori Amos are two of the greatest talents of our times IMO.

I wonder if she regrets
a. being a heroin addict
b. being a huge slut
c. pushing the plunger and then pulling that trigger
d. her ability to make helpless teens believe she had/has any talent at all (include hollywood in that).
What a loser. She now all the sudden regrets marrying Kurt. To be honest she'd still be an unknown white trash tramp workin a denny's if it wasn't for Kurt.

Kurt was an amazing musician. But i do have some sympathy for him. Do you know or have known anyone with bi-polar/manic depression? It is a very serious illness that has a suicide ratio of approximately 75% of the people who have it. Some people never know they even have it if they don't know what's wrong with them and have people around them that can spot it.
Bi-polar/Manic depression is like having cancer. To say you don't have sympathy for someone who dies from it is like saying you wouldnt have sympathy for a person who dies from cancer. I know the death is caused by their own hands, but remember their own hands don't know what they are doing. Alot of people call these type of people "Crazy" without understanding it's a chemical imbalance in their brain. It's this lack of sarintonin (sp?) levels that cause you to have violent mood swings and bouts of depression. It is not something that anyone...not even Kurt could control. I think because he went untreated and he couldn't handle fame and everything going on, got to him and he had to end it. Bi-polar people also have thoughts going on inside their heads that they can't stop....hense the need to rid yourself of those feelings? = Suicide.
Fyi - My Aunt has this disorder/disease. It is a treatable but very unfortunately thing to have.
PreDatoR - this wasn't just to you, just thoughts in general. Bi-polar/manic depression is something the general population doesnt understand. It's a mental illness that is looked down on, rather than people becoming aware of it and helping. It's no different than having other diseases that you are born with.

Believe me LL i know all about bi-polar. My X wife has it... Part of the reason we didn't last too long... She wouldn't get help for it and i couldn't handle the mood swings... She would get violent and abusive mentally and physically one min next min she was the nicest person next min she'd be seriously depressed... I knew she couldn't control it and it didn't bother me too much at first be being a foot taller tha nher and 100lbs more she never hurt me physically normally i'd just leave when she flaked out... But after a while i couldn't handle it... We're both better off without each other i got my santity back at least.... As far a Kobain he was very talented and it was a shame he took his own life... I still don't have any sympathy for him... If it gets to the point where you need to kill yourself... You should go get some help. Killing yourself is the easy way out... This is just my opinion... I'm one who takes lifes problems by lowering my head and pounding at them till i'm through them... I never do anything the easy way...

Although I agree that suicide is a cop-out for someone who'd be considered "sane", those who do it are usually in a very serious state of depression and thus are not thinking rationally at the time they take their own lives. It's really not easily understood by others unless you've been though it or seen it yourself so I don't automatically condemn those people but it's sad and unfortunate that they throw away their one chance at human life here, especially when I believe that most bad circumstances are temporary and resolve themselves in time. It's also easy to say that they could/should "just get help" but it's not always all that easy for many and some would probably refuse to seek help even if was redily available.

OK, let's not start debating how Kurt committed suicide as a result of some disorder.
Everybody knows how hard it is to put a shotgun in your mouth after you've taken three times as much heroin as necessary to kill yourself.

It's also not exactly new news either nor was he the first "rock star" to die from something drug related.

I firmly believe that Kurt was murdered by that slut C LOve.
Have any of you read the book or excerpts from it that the 2 jounalists wrote after investigating his murder?
it strongly points to C LOve hiring a hitman to kill Kurt and make it look like a suicide.
SOme proof was that there were NO fingerprints on the shotgun at all...not Kurt's or the guy that sold it to him. Dead people cant wipe off their own prints can they?
The Coroner said even a hard core heroin addict would have been unable to funcion at all after taking the high amount of drugs found in Kurts system, never mind trying to place a long barrelled shot gun in his mouth and pull the trigger after writing a note.
There was a local punk rock star who told the cops that C Love offered him $50,000 to kill Kurt 3 weeks before Kurt was killed. That guy was murdered 1 week after telling that to the cops.
Coincidence? I dont think so.
The 2 reporters were from Montreal and C LOve sent a big thug from LA there to scare them into stopping their investigation.
If I can find the link I'll post it later

WW, reporters can get the facts wrong.
The best source of material about Cobain's murder is directly from the private eye/former L.A. sheriff's detective who was hired by Courtney Love to find her husband. Courtney threatens to sue the shit out of everyone, but hasn't filed a single page of a lawsuit since
Tom Grant started going on TV and radio talk shows and posted his investigative findings on the web.
The thing to note is that (at least in the first few years after Kurt's death) Grant hasn't taken a dime from radio or tv appearances concerning the Cobain murder...he just wanted to get the word out that it wasn't a suicide, and that the killer is
still murdering people.
Also, two months ago Grant posted some of the taped recordings that were done during the investigation on his website. Interesting stuff.

SLugbait thanks for the link. Tom Grant is one of the ex detectives I was reading about.
I think it was a murder myself and I despise Courtney Love in every way.
She is a talentless skanky slut who would have been as Likelinus put it...trailer trash if she never hooked up with Kurt Cobain.

Sorry about the laughter there Syn, I couldn't help myself.
While I personally wouldn't give them quite that much credit, every person has their own tastes. I wasn't trying to put yours down. That just really hit my funny bone

Though I dont understand why you would think that was funny you have a right to your opinion as do I.Some people just hear music while others
listen.
