i know... i get home from school and i wanted to dl some more movies and it told me that my morpheus was too old for it to be connected and that it had to be upgraded... im like fine and they told me to go to musiccity.com... so i did and it won't let me go there sayin the page can't be displayed... so i go on this other site i forget how i got it... and its like morpheus doesn't run by music city and a clickhere thingy... so i clicked on it... and it wouldn't let me go there... so i go to msn.com under search and it had under morpheus an upgrade thing... but it told me that i had to dl winzip to do this... so i did and it still doesn't work and my morpheus still won't connect... I NEED HELP!! :p

The operators of the Fasttrack P2P network changed the protocol.
Kazaa ( http://www.kazaa.com/ ) and Grokster ( http://www.grokster.com/ ) are clients that work on the Fasttrack network and they are available with updated windows versions 1.5 that work with the new protocol.
Morpheus is also using the Fasttrack network but somehow they didn't manage to react fast enough to release a new updated client version.

You might want to try Kazaa or Grokster in the meantime till a new Morpheus client is released.

Do you guys notice that on Morpheus and Kazaa now you can only get songs at 128 bitrate?
I cant choose a better quality any more?
is there a way around this?
thanks

WW, go into regedit

HKEY_CURRENT_USER

Software

Morpheus

when u click on the Morpheus folder, it should show a key on the right side that says limitbit rate

change it from (1) to (0)

my problem was...

i downloaded 1.5 for Kazaa and when it was installing it wouldn't overwrite the kazaa.exe file....
kazaa wasn't running or anything... I even looked in the task manager... i hate when they update... the update either had to put more limitations on whats downloaded... or it was just a security/make things look nicer update... looks like I gotta go over psbaby69s house and fix that for her... :o

Anyone else notice that even after not installing the "extras" with Kazaa, spyware is still present. When the spyware is deleted, Kazaa will no longer work. Is it because of the built in ads? Morpheus runs just fine without spyware.
