Fears

Post by d_b »

We all know of blades great fear of our 8 legged friends. :) What are your fears. Remember, honesty is the best policy. So, if your greatest fear is having to wear nothing but womens underwear while signing a Barry Manilow tune, say so :D :D

Mine is dentists. I hate the buggers. I say this because I have to go to one tomorrow. I am only going because I have a tooth that is ready to fall out. Man, do I hate dentists, they're sadists or is it masochists? I think they like to inflict pain. On the other hand my fear could result because I am a wussy. :o

Spiders, *shudder*.

I have a real upcoming dillemma, due to Spiderman. I really, really wanna go see it. BUT... I just know there is going to be at least one scene with a spider. So if it is a close-up, the spider could be like 10 feet tall. AGH! I am not looking forward to that, for sure.

d_b dont be afraid of the dentist I just got back from mine about 5 min before typing this. Get this I had 10 teeth pulled and a denture installed. That is what I get for not going to the dentisit in years and many years of using crystal meth (been clean for 5 years now) any way beleive it or not the expereince to this point has been painless.. Of course I cant feel my lower jaw right now. I just tried to take a drink of water and spilled it all over myself because I cant feel my lower lip.

As for me fear as funny as it sound it is of chickens. I know that they willl not hurt me but there is just something about the way that they look. That little head and beadie eyes and that damn beak looks like it could hurt. Dont get me wrong I will not avoid them but I just dont feel comfortable around them. Of course once they are plucked and cooked I like them just fine.

Dad, glad your clean and staying that way :) It's been at least 13 years since I had a drink, a toke and a snort. You be proud of yourself!! I am :)
Now, getting back to chickens, their is a reason to be afraid them. Those little sneaks have a sharp beak and can fill you with holes in no time. As for the dentist, I make them numb me when they clean my teeth. What can I say, I am a wuss. :D I really fear the dentist. The only reason I am going now is I have a loose tooth and eating is almost impossible. :( The most miserable time in my life is when I had braces. Hope you and your dentures get along fine. :)

Gand1...it ain't the fall, it's the sudden stop. :)

My biggest fear is that some how or some way my demented and twisted X will try to keep my daughter from me... She's already tried and the judge slammed her ass hard... but she's trying it again... Won't stop till i manage to get custody and spend 10's of thousands of dollars but it will be worth it if i can get her out of her mothers care...

I too once feared the dentist but after many trips over the years I now don't fear him much anymore, heck sometimes I even find it relaxing. I'll admit that I'm still uneasy when they're drilling but that big needle doesn't even bother me now, rarely even feel it.

Spiders are aliens. Anything that has 8 legs and moves like they do ain't from this earth!

But seeing Spiderman doesn't freak me out. My all-time fav comic is Spiderman. It's when I see spiders in person, like real close or on me. I use to blow up black widows with firecrackers when I was around 10 or so. Now that was fun! :D

They didn't really start to get to me till a little neighbor girl was bitten by a brown recluse and she almost died. Stayed in the hospital for months.

Dentists only bother me because of how defenseless I am and the embarrassing position. Plus how they always ask you questions when they have your mouth stretched twice as wide as you've ever had it and also have their fingers along with various tools and cotton in your mouth. How da heck can we answer? :;

Good luck Pred :)

Really, I'm a complete wuss if there is a slight chance of falling, even if only a foot. I used to have to CRAWL up open backed stairs when I was younger. Hell, it's even tempting to still do that now. But boy would I look like an ass! :(
