Agreed, same here (Mack3).
A long time ago Renovation (who's apparently gone?) posted a url for a free one in the 'sizzling deals' forum so I ordered it. Many months later it arrived but I won't use another razor since, even though its replacement blades are pricey. It's the only razor that never cuts me wheras most others will on occasion with a new blade or if I'm being careless. Blades also outlast the average razors too IMO.

Definately the Mach3. Works good for shaving your head, face, body, etc. You get the picture. Definately the best razor out there and will ever be.

Schick Extreme III. I use to use the plain old Gillete Good News, but they sent me an Extreme III for free and I loved it. Almost never nicks me, and a smooth shave without working hard for it.

I also generally shave in the shower. If you've never tried it I highly recommend it. Amazing how much easier it is to get a good shave in the shower and your skin won't be as irritated.

I bought a fog-proof shower mirror at Walmart and it does the job.

I've tried several electrics but they never seems to give me a close enough shave, and they're a pain to maintain.

Senser Excel is by far the best for me. I tried the Mach3 and it isn't nearly as sharp as excel and doesn't last as long. I get a far smother shave with the excel than I did with the mach3. Comparing the 2, it's like shaving with a 2 week old razor when using the mach3. But maybe it takes getting use to.

Tried electric razors but couldn't use them for long. Always left stubble.

*I have 5 8 paks of mach3 replacement blades (never opened), whatcha offering? :D DVD's me likey.

I use a Norelco daily and when i'm going out i'll bust out my Gillette Sensor Excel... I have a Mach 3 but didn't like it much... I've got thick facial hair and it seems to just tear up the blades to where u can only use it about twice before it needs a new one... The Sensor i can get 4-5 shaves out of it before it starts pulling the hair...

Wow so many people using a razor surprises me. Here is a good tip they gave me when I bought the jumbo pack of replacement blades for the Mach III at Costco. When you are not using it put the razor in a small cup of baby oil just enough to cover the blades. Seems that rust is what dull the blades and the baby oil keeps them from rusting. Whatever the reason it works blades last me for weeks or more give it a try.

I use a Norelco electric. I used the Mach 3 for about a year and suffered from extreme razor burn on my neck everyday. I finely wised up and shelled out the cash for a nice electric. I will admit that it does not give you as close of a shave but atleast I stopped breaking out. I use to shave every 3 days or so, but now I have to everyday. Its no big deal with an electric: no lathering and getting messy. It takes 30 seconds and NO maintenance; just rinse under the sink every couple of uses, faster than razor.

Senser Excel , electric razors just don't "cut" it ;)

Dad, the Schick Extreme III disposables I use last me up to 2 weeks sometimes.

Rust is indeed the cause of a dull razor - I always dry it off and put the cap on it.

Also when you tap it on the edge of the sink to clean the hair out of, DON'T tap it on the blades - tap the handle.
