well, I hope enough people say FU post office, we are sick of your siHtty service and cause them to loose more money. I pay extra and get nothing more. I mean whats the point. they reported with even with ALL the extra bank they are STILL gana loose a good 2 BILLION dollers this year. how utterly pathetic. Time for them to be auited by a NON anderson firm and for them to be held accountable. They suck. Saddly there isnt much of an option for many things.

Ya know, I have heard many people complain about the post office's service, but don't forget that equal numbers of people complain about UPS and Fedex. And for smaller packages (which is what most of us deal with), $3.90 is what most items will cost to ship with tracking and 2-3 day delivery, which is less than either UPS or Fedex will charge for the same service. And to tell you the truth, I have had zero trouble with the Post Office throughout all of my trading. You can check my extensive Heatware and Beerology (both under barefoot) to see just how much experience I have with them.
You can complain about UPS, Fedex, USPS, AirEx, whoever. But none of these services are perfect, and with as many complaints as have been voiced about each, taking issue with one for raising their letter rates by three little pennies is just a little excessive, dontcha think?

I've mailed and received a LOT of packages using Priority Mail and frankly, I can only remember one that got lost and didn't show up for 8 days. They usually get there in 2-4 days. Pretty good deal for the price.

The reason they're losing money is because everyone is emailing..
cut back your usage and they'll raise the price again.
It's called economies of scale.
PS I used to live in Fl for 20 years and the postal service in
the US is much much MUCH better than the canadian version.

I live in Canada but rent a USPS post office box over the border and have to say, for a small town post office, its not bad service.
Had several DC's missed on scan in to the post office but actually had an employee call me long distance at home to tell me they found it. The speed seems to be pretty good and on a par with canada post.
Its nice you have the DC option as a stand alone service which I cant get over here. But we have slightly cheaper rates and have insurance/tracking to destination in the USA.

The USPS has been good to me. Usually I can ship something on Friday or Saturday by Priority mail and it arrives on Monday. Plus the USPS is about 3 minutes down the street from me. I have no clue where UPS is and FedEx is about 30 minutes away.
