I ordered an XP2200+, Epox 8k3a+ and WinXP Pro from newegg.com on Monday about 1pm. Everything arrived today (Wed) before noon. Not bad for super saver shipping. Just about got it ready to go. Sure is nice to have a laptop for a backup.

I like Newegg as well... They shipped my lastest order, as well as past orders quickly... I'd buy from them again...

they dont ship fast to me. Lost my business forever. That and I found out there Retail cpu's are not tru retail.

how can their retail CPU's not be true retail the ycome in a retail package with the retail HSF's and teh 3 year warranty's? i've got 2 retails from them and even had the aunthintic AMD certificate in them... Newegg's always been good to me. Very seldom takes more tha n2 days to get to me from the time they ship it out. And very few can beat their price no matter how hard they try...

hmm...well they order large lots of OEM products and when intel or AMD can not fulfil the whole order of OEM products they replace the oem ones with Retail boxes at the same price but keep those #'s i nthe same OEM database and thus making there retail cpu's oem with a heatsink. They are owned by a larger company (dont remember the name) but it is a second tear line...like Dell and HP are first and this company sells less then them but still a BUTT load.

From what I understand newegg will replace the cpu on most ocasions but if you try to rma them to amd or intel you get a big fat NO!

I've been very happy with shipping times from Newegg. Usually get it in 2 or 3 days, and the shipping cost is VERY reasonable compared to most other places.

I have heard some bad stories concerning their refurbished gear, but I never buy anything but OEM or retail from them.

If they are doing that, thats highly on the illegal side of things. I don't see a company that size pulling that off... How did you find that out?

Nexus is right about that.... I ordered a retail P4 from them and got the OEM P4, but the price was only a dollar more between them and it wasn't worth my time to get my dollar back... I've bought from them before and never have had a problem with them in the past, but if it happened again, then I would have a problem...

As it stands for me now, I'd buy from them again... But if the same thing happened, then I wouldn't... They tend to have great prices and can overlook a dollar here and there, if they save me $20 bucks or so....

I got my sourses. Im sure it will catch up to them one of these days. My main prob is htey take forever to ship....and now they charge More to ship the same day. if they were set up good they could easly just ship that or the next day easly. they have jacked me atleast twice. where they promise me on the phone I will get it a certain day and it doesnt arive I call and they say they cant make promises on the phone, but I disagree, thecan make them, they just choose not to inforce or follow them.

If i order before 3pm my stuff ships out that day... If i order after hours i usually have an email with tracking number in the early AM... They must not like you very much

I used to spend enough $$ there. WHen I called them last time they messed up the lady looked at my account and Really appologised because she said I do alot of business there...so who knows.

A+ in my book. Had one RMA with them and it went flawlessly and they always ship stuff out quickly.
