Bus With the Eminem-Headlined Anger Management Tour Catches Fire on Michigan Highway
PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. Sept. 9 — Friction from a flat tire caused a bus with the Eminem-headlined Anger Management Tour to catch fire on a highway Sunday, fire officials said.
Pittsfield Township Fire Sgt. John Maguire said the bus was fully engulfed in flames by the time his department got to the scene on Interstate 94 in Washtenaw County at about 1:30 p.m.
Maguire said the bus driver, who was not injured, was alone on the bus when the fire started. The bus apparently reserved for Eminem's managers was on its way to meet the tour at a scheduled performance, he said.
The Anger Management Tour wrapped up Sunday night at the Palace in Auburn Hills.
Three fire departments worked to extinguish the blaze and crews remained on the scene for about three hours, the Pittsfield Township Department of Public Safety said in a statement. Hazmat crews were required to clean up about 150 gallons of diesel fuel that leaked from the bus's tank.

It was only his managers bus...

I like Eminem... I think its great a white boy has made it in a black mans world... and to top it off he's sold a hell of a lot more albums than most of them could dream of selling...

I find Eminem's music (if you can call it that) the most annoying crap I've ever heard, and all he does is rap about how great he is. Blah, if his song comes on the radio I instantly change the station, but that's just me...

Everyone has their own opinions... but i'm willing to bet you've never actually listened to a full cd of his... When his first one came out i didn't like the first song they played on the radio... Think it was My name is... I still can't stand that song... lol a buddy of mine was listening to that cd one day and i got into it. He speaks a lot of truth about everything. He himself might be annoying but his words have a lot more meaning than 99% of the shit that is played on the radio these days... Why do you think his latest album has sold 5 million copies. He's a fucked up white kid who so many others can relate with. He's white in a black man profession... What other white rapper has sold over 10 million albums... LOL There ain't one... Maybe everyone who's had a peachy ass life just don't understand him. Everyone has their own tastes for music. I use to listen to a lot of rap but that was back in high school in the early 90's... Mostly good ole rock metal and alternative here now but i still like Eminem.

I'm not turning america's youth into complete morons, I'm just killing a man and a few of his friends. World would be better off.
Now i know he's giving kids what they want, and that kids just LOVE him....thats a whole other conversation though.

How is he turning kids into morons? I personally don't understand that. I agree with Predator. He has a #$%#ed up life and he raps about his hardships and his words mean a lot. His new album is his best yet. Now, this Moby "fued" is gonna be great. I don't like his first album. The second album is great but the third is by far my personal favorite. To me, he speaks it how it is in situations that generally you don't hear about.
Vanilla ice? I sure hope you were joking.....

Vanilla Ice was a one hit wonder i think he might have sold 2-3 million but it couldn't have been more than that. Eminem is one of the few artists i can think of that can use and show emotion in his music... His newest album by far is his best. Second one was pretty good and his first was so so... Each one gets better. And turning kids into morons? Please... If anyone believes that shit they must be a moron themselves. So many kids like him cause they can't relate. They have been through what he has... I can relate to a lot of his music. I didn't have a bad childhood but i can still relate to a lot of what he writes. Especially the shit with his wife and daughter. I can relate to all of that. I'm not gonna sit here and say you should like him but most haven't given his music the time of day just because its "rap". One reason i really like him is cause he's actually a daddy and not just a father. There's a lot of difference between a the 2... I'm sure most will know what i'm talking about and if ya don't... oh well...

Has nothing to do with it being rap music for me, I'v worked with neptunes and missy elliot(though rap isn't my thing too much, it's gone way down hill i think for the most part).
Yes, he raps about his life but the problem is alot of kids are too dumb/young to understand thats it's entertainment and try to mimic and do what he talks about. I know music influencs kids, I have seen it first hand, and i also know some are just plain dumb and crazy no matter what they listen to. I'm talking about young kids though, early teens. I blame the parents somewhat also but it's hard nowadays to screen that kind of stuff, they are going to hear it if they want to. I see alot who don't try to explain to thier kids that what he talks about doing isn't right also.
Vanilla Ice was a one hit wonder, but i give it to him. Nobody else really did what he did till eminem. At the same time, VI would never have been big without knight, and eminem would still be in a trailer home somewere without dr dre(very smart man btw). He molded and marketed eminem to exactly what younger(late teens/20's) white america was looking for.
And turning kids into morons? Please... If anyone believes that shit they must be a moron themselves.
Come on now, don't say it indirectly. Just say cak your a damn moron! lol We are all friends here, we can speak openly
