#1. The heatsink is way too small.
#2. The clock actually appears to be working.
#3. I see no smoke trails coming from the processor.

cyrix chips get HOT. I touched one that melted the HS off itself

fun mess, and yes I had to have ICE for my hand (note to all of you newbie overclockers out there: DO NOT MEASURE HEAT WITH YOUR HANDS, IT'S NOT THE WAY TO GO). That looks like an old retail intel cpu. I like it

BTW what is that on top of the fan? looks so much like ice

your present is a good 'ole Intel OverDrive upgrade processor. i dealt with a hundred or so of them a few years back... < shiver >
