One of my buddies and his wife are always giving me a hard time because I like to overclock and gave me this for Christmas.

Can't be a Cyrix.
#1. The heatsink is way too small.
#2. The clock actually appears to be working.
#3. I see no smoke trails coming from the processor.

cyrix chips get HOT. I touched one that melted the HS off itself :) fun mess, and yes I had to have ICE for my hand (note to all of you newbie overclockers out there: DO NOT MEASURE HEAT WITH YOUR HANDS, IT'S NOT THE WAY TO GO). That looks like an old retail intel cpu. I like it :)

BTW what is that on top of the fan? looks so much like ice
