How to buy stocks?

Hey i was looking at all these people who come into my job and use the computers to check stocks and see if they are getting money..


How do i go about getting some small stocks.. I Just want to start out with alittle bit of money..
What is the least i can spend to buy some kinda stocks..


And how do i go about getting them?

I am 15 does that affect anything?

i don't know if online trading firms will let you open an account if you're under 18...just check into the big ones (ameritrade, etc) and read their policies. read some of the tutorials on http://www.fool.com/ and you will learn quickly.

You are to young to trade stocks. Also don't go to online chat rooms for help with stocks. I have been a commodities broker, except for a few years off for racing, since 1984 so I speak with some official knowledge. :)

Also where do you work? I ask because you are 15 and most places won't hire someone that young.

I work at a place called Tech Central Cafe.. Its a computer place and a caffe.. I work in the computer part...

He hired me cause i was close,knew how to build and repair a computer... So thats how he found me and hired me.
