With a company called "TechCavalry." Basically a mobile pc repair company. I just had a phone interview where he asked a few scenario questions etc, said a little bit about the company. He asked me to come in friday for an interview and to have me troubleshoot a computer as a sort of test i guess. My question is this, should I bring anything like my service disk with various spyware utilities on it and an antivirus program? Or would I look funny walking in with it? I dunno. I would really like to get this job, as I need some more experience and such. Only really interviewed for 1 tech job that I didnt get. Any suggestions?

I'd say bring your tools with you if he wants you to work

I would agree...if bringing your tools might help you do a better job, and you're familiar with them, I'd say it would be better to come prepared.
better to bring them and not bring them.

take your stuff and then when it's time for the test...ask if you can use them or not.

I don't see why you couldn't? if you were out on a job you would have to, why not for the test?

Bone up on registry surgery. Get to know your most-fearsome enemies, like CoolWebSearch. Tools show you are prepared, but hands-on eradication shows you're knowledgeable.
