Up again this morning to $2.83. According to the paper I read this morning, if gas hits $3.11, then it will be at the highest ever since 1981 (adjusted for inflation).

I was just in northern WI last week where regular was at $2.80 BUT my car takes premium and that was at $2.96 in two remote towns (OUCH! :( ) I'd like to think that it was getting better mileage with that liquid gold ;) ...actually it does do a bit better up there as they don't use the reformulated gas we have to use around here.
Fortunately it's cheaper further south but probably not for long. Labor day weekend is quickly approaching and I'm sure it'll be much higher by then.

Good olde Germany has the real Premium Gas....prices. A quick'n'dirty conversion (euro to $ and liters to gallon) brings it roughly to $5.79/gallon for premium (or 1.25e/liter).
