Lady called and said she had PC problems. Said she didn't have Internet access or a land line, so she bought a really long phone cable and ran it across the street to a neighbor's house. A car snagged the line (apparently it was laying on the ground), ripped the modem out of the PC, and tripped a breaker. She then asks if that's bad. I thought it was a prank call. :lol

Another I remembered from a few weeks ago...
Man called and said he needed to get a large amount of Pics moved from one PC to another. I suggested all the commons ways for free, but he said he couldn't figure it out. I told him it would cost a service fee, If I were to do it for him. He declined and hung up. He called back a day later and said he got one over on me. He printed all he Pics out and rescanned them into his new PC.

My favorite calls ? "The printer isn't working" well it helps to turn it on , lol, must have made 5 calls to the same firm , same issue each and every time at $150 per trip.
Oh and from the same office the ladies had an desktop shortcut that takes them right to their network share so they could save their work. I get a FRANTIC call one day that they cannot access their shares.
lol, I get in there, the network is fine the database secure and easily accesible.I'm sitting there at the office manager's workstation mulling things over and notice that the icon on the desktop leading to her share has a big red X on it...lol, her teenage grandkid had been in the office with her the day before and the little tard switched the icon, all the ladies saw the red X and thjought it was broken !

Also found a dead hamster in a customer's PC case. Called and asked them if they were missing a pet hamster. It had been missing for three weeks.

Lady called and said her "computers" quit working. I asked how many she had, she said two. I asked all the basic questions. First question being, are they in the same room? She replies sarcastically, "well of course..." After a few more questions, I finally figure out she is talking about her speakers.
