Anybody addicted to Facebook?

Post by nitro237 »

My wife talked me into setting up Facebook. I have talked to some friends I haven't seen since high school (I graduated in 1981,lol).

I tried myspace a while back , it wasn't for me. It appeared to target a younger crowd. Facebook seems geared more towards old crotchety people like myself.

that is funny u mention "younger crowd". facebook was started originally for young, non-crotchety ;) Harvard students, 'n' then they "allowed" other colleges to join. now, anyone over 13 can join.

glad u found some old classmates there to natter to, tho :)

I just liked MySpace better myself & am a member with a small assortment of friends. I only check it once a week though.

meh, I'm not a super social person, have a handful of close friends and that's enough for me. I have an account but I rarely do anything with it. My wife loves it tho... I dunno I see it more for chicks, single guys and teens (and a time waster) for some reason...

I joined it back when I started college. At the time it was pretty much only good for gettin' to know/flirt with girls. Since I've graduated, I mostly use it to keep in touch/network with friends. The aviation community is very small, so it's good to know people who can get you in the door.

I've always liked it better than myspace. myspace just seems so cluttered to me, I never got into it.
