I had an awesome wallpaper.

Was a solider shooting the AR15/M16.. had the Shell in mid air.. was an over the shoulder view.. Thought it came from a link here..

Would love to find it again.. I have googled the google and no hits.

Qui, was it an image you right clicked on in a browser to make your wallpaper, and now you've lost it? If so, do a file search in "c:\documents and settings" (for XP) or "c:\users" (for Vista) for the keyword "wallpaper". Do an advanced search and have it look in hidden and system folders. You might find it.

It was on a HDD.. in my D620.. and then.. I formatted.. I thought I moved it.. but I didn't.. I can't find the image.. and what pisses me off it that it was just that good of a picture. I would be sitting in public using my laptop and people would stop and comment on it. really trying to find it.

You know that is a great pic.. but not it.. and.. that range.. I went twice.. and twice I found it was HORRIBLE.

I guess if it's all ya go.. it's better than nothing.. but I much prefer the desert here in Az. Have made one shooting trip up since I have been back. About time for another before summer breaks and it's to damn hot.
