I ran over my trusty Razr phone last week with my lawn mower. Had to get something, ended up getting an iPhone. So far, I hate to admit it, but I love it.

They are probably the best thing that Apple has made IMO (and actually worth the money). However, the other manufacturers are quickly catching up. The G1 is very nice.

I have to admit I recently just bought a 2nd generation Ipod touch, and it is definitely the best MP3 players I've ever owned.

I bought my first 2nd gen Touch over 2 months ago and am still amazed at how cool those things are.
I'd have the Iphone too if I could justify the monthly charge (I'm told ~ $75?) but I rarely use my inexpensive Tracfone as it is and my wife insists on keeping a "landline" too (a waste IMO but....).
Anyway, at first I had no idea that I'd find it so usefull for transferring ALL of my CD's (over 1000) but once I realized that with it, I'd never again need the CDs, the madness began

The 1rst Touch was only 16gb and soon filled up. I then bought a 32gb Touch and then yet another as the collection converted amounts to ~52gb total on 3 PCs.
I have Pandora on all of them, one usually stays in my toolbox at work and another is in my daily driver car. Lately I've been listening to my many converted Cds using the shuffle feature. Just select songs/shuffle and it plays through all your music like a never ending Jukebox.
I have all of years of photos in one of them too and plan to have a few movies as well.
Then the Apps (ALL from iTunes, no Jailbroken units). I have about 4 pages of Apps so far, some are very cool, a few good games too. They even now have Wolfenstein 3D Classic and it's not bad for playing on a small unit. I'd imagine other ID SW shooters will arrive too in the near future.
I'd say the Touch/Iphone are the coolest gadgets to come around since the invention of sliced bread, very cool stuff.

I just bought it to surf the internet before the apps were even announced. I'm continually amazed at the apps they are coming out with. I've got 7 pages of free apps. Just wait until the next software update in summer where they will be able to communicate directly with each other.
