Every year we have a summer cookout at the office. We drag a gas grill out behind the office (we're in a half-empty, beat-up old shopping plaza that backs on public housing). This year we finished grilling and went inside to eat, and while we were eating some %#$ stole our grill.
A deputy came to take a report and he was doing his best not to break out laughing, asking who would represent the thief in court if they caught them.
I work in a Public Defender office. One of our investigators (a retired cop) tried to follow the "grease" trail, but said without a list of our clients who live nearby, he really couldn't do much.

Whoever took our grill, you might as well have the cover too. Please stop by and make arrangements to pick it up.
