I post a lot at the OcUK forums and i'm getting realy pi$$ed off (as are everyone else) with some st00pid little turd brain who keeps hacking them.
It is like the biggest UK forum that exists, 4500 members.

I dont remeber what kicked it all off, first i knew was we were moving over to the vBulletin code from UBB and the vB died. So went back to UBB, that died shortly after -with posts/profiles being messed up.
We shifted over to the forums at hexus.net, they were attacked. So we moved back to the OcUK server -with one tempory forum. This vanished and then finally last night -the new vBulletin board came online and looked sweeeet.

However it didnt last long, it too has been hacked and we are back at sqaure one.

Understandably, Spie (owner of OcUK) is not pleased to say the least and is now offering £1000 worth of hardware from the their range as reward for information leading to the succesful procescution of the hacker.

Please please help if you can, we are running out of ideas

oh yeah, £1000 = $1442 at the moment and they do ship to the USA afaik.

They just need some good firewall protection. I'm not real familar with them but some are available that will stop those attacks. Does he have any protection at all?

Sounds like that hacker really has it in for someone. Or is just "having fun" at others expense.

they have something agaisnt Spie and the mods of the BBS, the server for the bbs is actaully and brand spanking new'en bought specifically for the bbs -i'm not sure what kind of protection is on it. Its located at the ISP not at OcUK HQ, and the ISP seem to have all secrcuity updates'n'all...
