WW is right, the sonique visuals are way cool, but after a week, you'll be back with winamp.

Yep I tried it for a week and went back to Winamp. Too big and bulky. Kinda like MediaPlayer 7.

I also tried Sonique, liked it for a while, then switched back to Winamp. Sonique consumed too much desktop space. Perhaps a little too flashy for my taste.

Too much desktop space??? It has 3 different sizes....one of them being a little bar.
I've been using Sonique for about a year and see no reason to use Winamp at all.

Winamp does use less resources but those visuals in Sonique are worth it.

Sonique is ok, but I HATE free-form skinning.

there is only one thing i want in winamp that's not there
1.5x size, 1x is too small 2x is too big
sonque sucks, pretty and all but just is not winamp

But what about Music Match? I've tried em all and stuck with MM. Of course it's been a while since I used Winamp.
Which of the 3 is the biggest resource hog?*oink oink*

Bubonique is definately the biggest resource hog. It's supposed to sound a little better, but I can't tell the difference. The playlist is awful.
I love MusicMatch as well, but usually I don't need all of the features it has.
imo, winamp still ownz j00...especially combined with Kelly's Topaz skin...

I don't believe any of them are using enough resources to matter at all if you have a decent system.
IMHO Winamp is blocky looking. Sonique by all accounts sounds better, looks better to me, and has a real nice WAV out.
