That's what greeted me on my login today. I can't believe I had been away for so long. I am building a new rig, and remember back to my old rig, which I read up a lot on at this forum.

Hope everyone is well here. I'm still contributing to our Folding@Home group on my PS3.

Haha, check out that old sig:
P4 2.2ghz - winxp
P2 400mhz - loonicks(dead)
dell lappy
more cars than computers.

I gotta change that up. The P2 is nowhere to be seen, P4 is dead. It was going to be an unraid setup, but it won't boot off USB. Got an alienware m14x laptop, and less cars than computers now. My old rig is the E8400 (oc'd, on water), and the new one is going to be a core i5.

Hi,
Look for my thread on that topic in General Hardware. The new PC rocks!
....and a SSD is a must. I'll never buy another HDD with a spinning disc again.

Go with a larger SSD, 256gb. That way c drive space won't ever be a problem

Mine is in this thread,

I already ordered the gear. I'm not too worried about the 120gb. I'm going to relocate my my documents folders to the other drive, so I'll have plenty of space .

At least you are still a member of the messed up avatar club!

Welcome back! Avatar uploads are still broken I think but if you want to replace it, shoot me a PM. You can email it to me and I can manually put it on the server.
