How did NASA get those great film shots of Apollo and the Shuttle?

Post by FlyingPenguin »

I discovered this video by accident today, but it explains something that's perplexed me for years. How the hell did NASA get those great films of the Apollo stage separations?

This great documentary shows how.

Christians warn us about the anti-christ for 2,000 years, and when he shows up, they buy a bible from him.

My company actually provides the video transport cards that the military uses for these cameras in their missile test areas at White Sands and a few others since we have one of the lowest latency, highest quality J2K encoders. Got to see them up close over at Eglin AFB last year when I got a tour of the remote silos and shit. Pretty neat stuff.

Too bad about the friggen 45 minute drive to get anywhere outside the main base. These places are huge.
