When I first saw that I was thinking of some amusement park ride gone haywire. Scary there wasn't some kind of emergency friction brake for when power failed.

Sounded to me like it was running backwards at full speed. Don't have they a kill switch for that thing?

Seemed like the guy in orange was yelling at the operator to shut it down.

I bet a gear box coupling failed that had the brake on the other side of the coupling and the gearbox was just freewheeling under gravity. that's why it wasn't going that fast.
