I have one that I use mostly for messaging with my kids and a couple of friends. I may spend some time a couple of times a week looking through what my friends have posted. I rarely post. I run it with max privacy and with FB purity on top of adblock+ , so I never see an ad. With FB purity, you can also block posts that contain keywords like "*rump" .

Been dragged into it recently to stay in touch with some friends and family. I despise it though. I hate how they constantly send me updates and suggestions and ignore my preferences not to be bothered by that crap.

I still have mine. I mainly use it to follow bands and artists I like. My blocked list is longer than my friends list.

If you're accessing it on your phone, you need to make sure you log out. Not just close the app.

anyone who is using should install fb purity. It has a lot of settings that let you block the ads and most of the FB crap. I belong to a couple of groups that were set up specifically as private special interests groups (college friends, etc.)

No I don't use it on my phone. Only on my PC and I log out when I'm done.
