Watchmaker Breaks Down Swiss & Japanese Movement Watches | WIRED

Ok, I just love watching stuff like this. I wish I had the patience and the skillz to work on watches. But I can admire a pro at work.

Every time he held up some tiny little gear between his tweezers, I just thought that if it was me that the part would probably get shot across the room and I'd never find it again.

when I worked for a wholesale imported when i was a kid - he imported watch heads from switzerland by the hundreds . we all stand around the glass sale's counter and install watch bands on them . we just use a pen knife and compress the springs that held the watch bands on the watch head's. I worked there for a lot of years till I was about 22 or 23 years old off and on. full and part time at time's .
