"Well ... John now has shingles! It’s on the top and left side of his head. We’ve got the anti-viral and I’ll be getting some lidocaine cream this morning. Any soothing and healing energy you can send would be gratefully received.
Also - I’ll be ok. I called my GP this morning re: if I need to get the vaccine. Answer - you can only contract shingles 2 ways: from someone who has chicken pox; or if your immune system is compromised and you’ve had chicken pox, in which case the dormant virus can activate. I’ve been making sure my immune system is in good shape."

Just went out UPS. Due to the storm they couldn't guarantee it before Wednesday.

I haven't been online much lately for reasons, but just hopped on to see updates on this thread.

I am so sorry to hear that John is not doing as well as we all hoped. But I love the idea of the card and the floppies. This is one of the best groups of people that I am so pleased to be a part of. One big family.

Still in my prayers. And everyone in the hurricane zone too.

I know some of you wanted to chip in for the cost, but I've got it. Didn't cost much.

i did put a post it note on the floppies saying 'Since you're such a high tech guy, maybe you can use these.'
