Bunch of bogus Social Security calls today

Started this morning and continued this afternoon. In total, 6 calls:

Left a voice mail message that I needed to press #1 to resolve the unauthorized access to my SS account, and that my SS account has been terminated.

I get those in cycles. Same as the medical brace ones and car warranty expiring and lower CC interest rates. Always starts with your zip code and first 3 digits same as your n umber, so it appears local, but it's all the same spoofing call center.

Yeah I've gotten those on my company cell phone. It was a Solar company, but when I called them, they said someone has spoofed their number. The guy was very apologetic. He stated that I was not the only one. He's received over 50 calls. What a way to screw with someone's legit business. I can only wish that more of these calls would go to local, state, and fed representatives, so maybe we can get some action on this. Oh wait...we have a do nothing congress.
