I downloaded a 280 meg .AVI file, the movie Escaflowne, and for some damn reason it don't have any video...
it took me forever to get this thing with my 56K so i want to salvage it !!!! i get this error when i try to preview the movie
it says
"video not available, Cannot find 'vids :d iv4' decompressor"

anyone know??

mpeg 4 codec, perhaps?

is it looking for a divx mpeg4 codec? grab one and install that and see if it works. :)
