replacement warranty problem ?

replacement warranty problem ?

OT/ anyone had this happen to them . you own a power tool and its under warranty. about the end of the warranty time frame . it go's bad you contact the company . they say they need to replace it. but at this time there no replacement available . they don't have any replacement model's to offer you . they do put you on a list to be emailed when a replacement is avail. they send you a email stating this . but the support person also tell you recheck in a month . (don't want to state the companys name at this time . ) you check the companys web site and it states all models of that type of item are back order at this time.

Between covid and the holidays, yea I can easily see supply issues. A lot of companies are having running into inventory issues at one point or another so not surprised. At least you have a claim in before the warranty expired. Just make sure you have saved documents (ex. emails, claim number, dates, etc...)
