MAN WITH BRAIN IMPLANT CHALLENGES NEURALINK’S MONKEY TO “PONG” GAME

Post by FlyingPenguin »

This would be the best Twitch stream EVAR!
Copeland is paralyzed from a car accident, but retains limited mobility in his shoulder and hand. He received a brain implant from a different company last year that allows him to play video games such as Sonic the Hedgehog. Now he wants to go brain-to-brain with Neuralink’s monkey.

This feels like a lost Planet of the Apes plot.

Did you see we now have an implant that allows paralyzed people to type using thought: https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/n ... into-text/

It would be neat if was possible to develop the technology to a wearable that would allow anyone to think to their phones or PC's to type.
