Wake Attire Here in Florida today ?

Post by reno »

My son in-Law mother just died last night . He brought up a good question . it was not ask to me as we don't know the answer to this.
he ask if he need's to get a suit . I'm not sure of that Answer .when we first move down to Florida we brought one with us. We when to a wake in Zephyrhills and did I feel over dressed there.( he did get a new suit when he married my daughter) being in a 55 and over community the last 6-7 years we have had to attend a bunch of wakes . all we done is wear a dress shirt and slacks . but we seen other dress in a nice shirt and shorts . we know there going to be a Funeral and possible a Celebration of life later in the fall . feeling on this guys keep in mind this is 90 plus temps here . mostly trying to get members who live in Florida take. we have really seen all type of attire on guys here ! these days being the 21 century thing have sure changed .

If it's a wake or celebration of life, yeah I can see dressing more casual.

Me, personally, have always worn a suit. But I think for the next one I might go black dress shirt and slacks.
Christians warn us about the anti-christ for 2,000 years, and when he shows up, they buy a bible from him.
