today we need to buy a new set of door hinge's for a dryer. to my amazement it was cheaper to order them right from Whirlpool . then to buy them from amazon or any appliance parts place online or even locally . Im talking by $5 per hinge cheaper. even shipping cost were less via fedx ground. then best price we found from part suppliers. the other thing that was odd is delivery time . one place on amazon wanted 2 to 3 time as much to deliver them and i'm only 30 min's away. from there small business location they say there working out of. some offer 2 day or less delivery other like 10 days. :bang

A lot of those parts resellers on Amazon just order them from Whirlpool themselves, and then ship them to you.

I agree fully with you . but like company's Parts Depot , Part Select and Appliance parts pro . they buy in volume to get large discounts . kind of like Granger. the large appliance repair company like to use one stop shops . they really don't care the about the price do to just passing it on to the home owner at a profit anyway .
