Alright! Pick&Save here is finally starting online grocery shopping here next month and for only $4.95. Heck, who wouldn't consider paying that to pick a weeks worth of groceries assuming they don't screw up?

Here in So Cal we have Home Grocer doing the delivery thing I was about to try it once til I heard one of the drivers broke in to a house raped the lady and robbed the place. Made me reconsider.

That's an urban legend dude. I wouldn't worry too much about it. My mom's used HomeGrocer a couple of times and really likes it. Its pretty easy to use and they have pretty good prices. She said prices on lunch meat and ground beef were pretty expensive though. You just have to make sure you can be home the next day when they drop them off. They carry them into your house and put them in your kitchen for you. They even where these stupid looking little bootie things so they don't track mud/dirt into your house. Its pretty cool!

Yeah. There's nothing like being able to feel your melons before you buy 'em.

yeah I have seen both HomeGrocer and GroceryWorks.com trucks driving around here lately (DFW area). My mom never uses them, though, because she doesnt even know how to turn a computer on...

We used HomeGrocer here once, it worked great (and they gave us a bunch of nice produce for free).

Delivery yet too heh? So far they're just planning to pick and bag the stuff but you still have to drive to the store where I imagine they'll load it into the car (or roll it towards you

). I'll probably try it once for $4.95.
