Flash intros to a website
Flash intros to a website
Is it just me or am I the only one who thinks they are major league annoying as hell and a total waste of time. They think they're so cool but to me they accomplish nothing but slowing things down. Especially the ones that have no "skip intro" so you have to wait before you can continue. I just x the browser, unless it's a site I have to use to get something.

I agree
I think those who use them think they're cool BUT they're slow loading/running even with cable. I can't imagine how sucky they must be with a dial-up connection. I've run into a few sites where there's one right after another, like on every page with no way to skip past it.
I'm always trying to look for a way to click past that BS, like how I do when games default to a startup intro. Once you've seen that, you don't wanna see it again.
