Well, I saw it this evening.
Nothing to rave about. Some nifty special effects but that is about it. The acting wasn't great and they tried to fit too many little adventures in and not expand on the story or less adventures. Even the comic relief didn't fit!

I'd wait for this one on video or if you have little ones that want to see it, I would take them.

thats to bad. but doesnt really suprise me. make it Look good and people wil latleast think about seeing it. Ohwell thanks 4 the heads up.

I really liked the spell effects. The dragon battle at the end was pretty nicely done as well. However this movie is definitely targeted towards younger audiences (what do you expect, their hoping to get kids interested in playing the game). If you go in with that mentality it's actually enjoyable.

Yeah I agree, bad over-acting, cheesy comedy, and really stupid parts of the story. It has some decent parts and the SFX are pretty good, but it's not something I'm going to see again. More geared towards the younger crowd...
