Nice... I have been eyeing the Shiva Mk II myself. A 15" would be overkill for me.

Hmmm... bass as a weapon. We could probably make the Taliban deaf with a few of these: http://www.blueprintdrivers.com/1803.html

The Shiva's are pretty nice subs!
But if I had the cash, I definetely would have gone with the BluePrint.
That thing is really nuts. plus the power handling :D

That's Xsus that you're talking about; how far the suspensions limits are.
It's relatively unimportant, what's important is how far the cone can move as pushed by the magnet system......Xmax.

I just checked the specs, and it's actually less than the Parts Express 12inch DVC or the 15inch DVC...

well, it is a measure of how much air is moved. I thought that was important (Xmax = 45 mm)

not suspension excursion (Xsus), but cone excursion as propelled by the magnetic system (Xmax)
The Xmax spec is 15.8mm.....which is a one way measurement.
Obviously you multiply by 2 to get total linear cone excursion, which is 31.6mm
The DVC's is 16.34mm one way/32.68 total.....which is a trivial difference, but a difference nonetheless :D
