picked up Akira and Harry Potter yesterday

Post by b-man1 »

I've heard alot about Akira...looking forward to checking it out. Harry Potter has also been given the thumbs up by some friends....didn't think I would ever watch it, but it'll probably be cool.

We should start an official "Recommended Anime" thread so I can get to work on my anime collection. :)

Akira is a little dated now adays but still very good, and harry Potter wasnt bad. Just have to deal with there accents.

I'm also planning on getting the Akira DVD to replace my VHS version. Maybe it's kinda dated but the animation is still awesome and the soundtrack is great.

I wanna buy a bike, and mod it up a bit to make it look like the bike from Akira

that movie kicks ass, but you have to watch it a few times to understand what is going on in the movie. I didnt fully understand until I saw it like 4 times

Harry Potter.......its got some cool special effects, but I can only tolerate listening to those accents for sooo long before I start to go insane
Gone for good. But never say never

I tried 3-4 times to watch harry potter but the accent and the kiddies prevented me from getting halfway.
