If you haven't seen it, it's a great movie. Amazingly, the actor who plays Elton John (he played Eggy in the Kingsman movies) actually sings all the songs himself. He has a fantastic voice and does a remarkable impersonation of Elton.
Love the way they picked Elton songs as themes for what was happening at moments in his life in the movie.
Be aware it's not a bio pic like the Freddy Mercury movie. This is a musical that tell the story of Elton's rise and fall and rise.
The re-creation of a classic Elton John music video at the end is brilliant, and I love how during the credits they show photo comparisons of the actor in the movie in famous Elton attire, and actual photos of Elton in the same outfits. 89%/88% on Rotten Tomatoes.

We saw it on the big screen. Yes, agreed. VERY well done and entertaining. Learned a lot about Elton that I had no idea had happened in his life.
