just got this - lots of cool commentary and extra stuff - the opening scene where they use the fire catpults, etc. was shot in england in an area scheduled for deforestation - they just did it the old fashioned way!

Bought it yesterday at B-buy, and then watched it twice. :)
This was my first time seeing it. I thought it was done very well.

Did you like MI2 hammer01 ? I haven't bothered with it since most say it's a real stinker.

Can't get on B-buy's site right now, it's down.
Been getting "hammered" ;) since wednesday. hehe

VonJames - I'm a big John Woo fan, so needless to say, I absolutely loved the action. It was great. The story could do some work, but I didn't go there to see it for the story (as with many other people :) )

I'll probably make MI2 a rental first. I've bought one too many stinkers on dvd, and I don't want to add anymore to that pile. ;)

Don't anybody waste your time...er... money on that Saturday Night Live 25th anniv. dvd.
That was the biggest dissapointment. I don't recall one COMPLETE skit shown on the whole disk. It was all bits n pieces, and a lot of times, missing most of the funnier parts.
BIG disapointment.
