How to deal with car jackers in South Africa...

I've been doused in gasoline. You don't wash that off right away it's going to burn your skin, and if he got it in their eyes, double points.

Yeah he could have torched himself, but I'd bet he could have gotten away, while the other guys would have been human torches.

Not sure that would work here. I don't think the nozzles would dispense fuel like that. They usually don't work unless they shoved in all the way.

They work that way here. No vapor recovery on our pumps.

True. Maybe in older areas because pretty much all the pumps down here have that.

It's a city thing. Took me a while to get used to it here. In order to get reimbursed from the fed for clean air funds, cities with high number of vehicles are required to mandate vapor recovery systems on their gas pumps.
