The Golden Age of Muscle Cars is now

but there is one thing that I really like about the 60's cars: body styles. To me, most of the cars all look the same. Back in the 60's, there were different body styles, and you can easily tell them apart.

I would either get a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT or a Corvette Z06.
I like my Grand Cherokee but having an SUV that can go from zero to 60 in 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 160mph is practical AND fun. ;) lol

You can buy many cars today that'd run circles around stock versions of those old cars BUT those cars come with very high sticker prices whereas back in the day, your "average" guy could afford those old muscle cars. Then too, insurance costs for today's muscle cars will also be very costly.

Agree modern tech is better, but can't hold a candle to this for cruising at the beach.

Those 'Cudas are sexy

Also, the word 'Cuda is funny to say and odd if you look at it long enough.

Yeah the cudas/challengers were good looking cars.

The small cougars and torinos were not as sexy but they were damn sure fast.

Im kinda partial to my bird though :) One day it will look similar to this.

Saw one at the grocery store a while back which was a little newer, but nicely restored. Guy said it was originally a 326/383 but he'd dropped a 440 in it. Said it was excellent for going fast in straight lines, not so much on whoopsie WV roads.

I'm the oddball AMX fan, but I gotta admit that second on my list is Dodge products.

there a ton of old classics around . this last week I must of seen all of them .
it was the Woodward dream cruise just this pass Saturday. I spent 3 days sitting on Woodward (m1) watching people bring out the classic and drive them on the street . there was even customs like the munsters ,batman ,monkeys cars from the old tv shows driving down woodward along with normal everyday traffic. just miles and miles of classics . also race cars new and old , seen a Chrysler Dayton superbird that was right hand steering made for Austria . the car per the owner this car was never was shipped over sea's for what ever reason. it was a week of fun for me and friends .it was great to see and hear also see some do burn outs again .
the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me. :help
