Yeah try using a heat gun under a dash with out damaging anything else... but it does look like a good connection.

I picked some of those up like 3 weeks ago. Found them on Amazon. They work great.

I honestly never had an issue with good old solder & heat shrink.... which costs much less.

I agree with normalicy on this i just bought a assortment of heat sink tube last night .it cost me $4.00 shipped for over 325 assorted size's of tub's and that should last me years . solder cheap to really . I did give the self-solder connectors a hard look but passed .when I figured out the number of time I need them and the end cost .

I prefer the convenience, as I don't have to grab the soldering iron and solder. I've used them now a few times for some projects and I've been impressed so far. Just insert them and fire up the heat gun. Too easy.
