I have a some what of a unusual billing question on a recall by GM for my 2021 Gmc Acadia . the fuel pump control module is recalled. here the whole story. way back in July of 2024 we had this same part replaceat the dealer. instead of billing GM under 3 year bumper to bumper warranty .they billed my extended warranty company for that service . to top this off the dealer saying they don't have a record of the working being done there .there been couple of different hands that changed ownership of them .they no record of the work performed .they do see the invoice no on there computer but no record of how the bill was payed if we don't turn in 2 page of my paperwork . this is what im going to try doing to get a full refund for my troubles first time the car had to be towed in .

well new replacement unit installed took about 1.5 hours that the good news. bad news i'd have to deal directly with GM to try and get a reimbursement . seeing we didn't pay out of pocket first time round . its be a 1 in 100 chance it happen. to top this off there a good chance the dealership double dip first time round . had it warranty under the 3 year bumper to bumper and also hit my car warranty company .
