This details the basic application of Zaino products. The only thing I don't do, and will never do, is wash a car with Dawn. While it will strip away the old wax, it will also remove any protection from your trim. A good Claying is just as effective for removing old wax. I've like Zaino since the first day I used them.

Volvo's are the same, remotes have metal key inside.
If there was no mechanical key whatsoever and your remote battery failed, which happens, you'd then be SOL. I can't believe that any manufacturer wouldn't think of that.
On the Altima and Prius they are buttons, the key hole is next to them. The button is to unlock or lock the door. The Key just needs to be near it for it to work

OK, someone here gave me bad info about the location for Lexus. It's not under the buttons but right next to them on both front doors. The rear part of the door handle is a cover and it prys off using the metal key, inserted into a slot at the bottom and then the lock cylinder is there.

that's correct...i finally had a chance to look at the manual and it's just a cover that you pop off to access the keyhole. the manual also stated the remote batteries typically last "1-2 years". so, mine could go at any time already. hahaha!
