[shudders] hehe Actually it's a 1982 Toyota Supra. Just an old jap rice-rocket, but it's nice--I will admit. It doesn't have any of that, kick you in the balls type acceleration, but its not bad. It's a 5-speed so I got to learn how to drive a stick
This thing doesn't need any rice though. I mean first I don't like the look of it and second skirts to make it appear lower? Sheesh, it's already about 6-inches off the ground at it's lowest point. I mean, if I wanted to make it lower, it would have to be draggin' on the ground

I highly reccomend a Civic..... Go for a 92-96. Should cost about 4-6K for a good condition EX coup 5 speed. Less for the DX/CX and Hatchback. I have owned two of them (one used, one new) and have had no problems with them. The used one, I had to put a timing belt in at 70K but that was it. New one....nothing so far (three years old, 25K). Just make sure to change the oil, and during the winter, rinse the salt off the underside of the car (especially the exaust), and it should last forever.

The late 80's/early 90's Chevy Corsica's are nice. I own one myself. They really dont look all that bad. I mean my 88 looks great w/ foglamps and a neon license plate border But hey, having me as a driver what COULDNT look great? They make a 4cyl model thats what I have. Not all too much power but its good on gas. I think they have a 2.8L V6 in some of them too. Not too bad there either. If your looking for something a little sportier the Beretta's arent bad. Cheap, and if you have some glossy paint it is pretty nice looking. But hey, do what u want O BTW, the late 80s corsicas can be had in the 800-1000 range and I'm really not sure on berettas. I think like 1000-2000 area.

Get a new Golf VR6(not that good gas milage but owell), I hear that they are pulling 11 sec. with a supercharger and some other minor upgrades. You will own the streets I'm just chillin' on my celica. It's a fat ride. It's pretty quick and has great handling. The gas milage ain't too shabby either. I have the 6th gen so it's the ones that look good with lowered with 18's and aren't too played out.

believe volkswagens are expensive to fix!
my stupid little brother screwed the lighter and push it all the way in. next thing i hear is shocking noises. my stupid brother messed up radio and ligther. it was 98 volkswagen jetta nice mileage for gas but expensive to fix. it was 160 to take out the lighter because it was stuck attempted to pull it out it did not work and 200 dollars just for the stereo to work again. There has been no mechanical problems since i bought it just do all the regular check ups and you would do fine. i hope people in this section forum keep the car maintenance up since this what makes your car parts live longer.
