This is my driveway on a rather regular basis. To the left of the picture is a 1992 Honduh Civic LX (named Angelina, as in Jolie...a very beautiful woman) which is a 5 speed...don't see many of those..that is my brother's. Also, you will see my mom's boat...a 1999 Crown Vic....you would be surprised how powerful that boat motor is, tho. Behind that is my girlfriend's 1997 Honduh Civic (named Civi accordingly).....and finally my 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse.....all on a snowy day in Georgia. Anyways, thanks for taking a look...I know it is very interesting and all. Maybe others will post picts of their driveways?

Hey all,

Here is the new pic of my driveway, minus the snow and all the guest cars. Also, my mom was at work when this was taken, so these are only my cars in the driveway ;-)

Take care everyone,

I'll post a pic here when the new digital camera comes in. Hopefully that won't be more than a couple weeks.
Nice cars BTW :)

This was right after the paintjob. Not my drive-way, but just down the street to the lake:

It's a Supra, hence my "Supra Man" title ;) Actually, it's officially a Celica Supra. Before '86 there was a Celica and a Celica Supra. They shared MANY simularities. The Supra got a new front end and a beefier engine. After '86 when the MK3 supra came out (next gen) the celica line broke away totally from the Supra. They became two totally different models. Kinda confusing, I know :)

My dads friend did all body work and painting. The paint job is so-so. The pictures above are before he buffed it (because there were some runs in the clear-coat) and I think that ruined it overall. Made the car look "dull" My dad keeps sayin' if I waxed it, it would shine up but I've done it once and didn't notice a thing. I'll get on it again when it warms up.

We ended up payin' the guy around $1k for the body work and paint (paint was $400 for half-gallon! Damn audi colors.... So in total we paid $500 for the initial car plus we had to fix the rack + power steering pump wich was another $500 plus the $1k to make it pretty. But for the price we paid I don't think you could get any better. The guy did EXCELLENT body work it's just he hadn't had much experience painting so it came out "ok." I'm not complaining, for $2500 you can't get much of a better car. I just need to fix some small things on it.

Here are some before pics :)

WOW.....major improvement....glad everything worked out for you.....and sorry about missin the Supra Man title :p however, it does look almost exactly like an older Celica....so hence the confusion on what it was. Anyways, glad that you love it...and I agree....2500 for that car was not bad.

HT some real good wax and a buffer will shine that puppy up... After my dad had his truck painted... Had 4 shots of base coat and another 3 shots of clear coat there were a few imperfections in it.... The minor lint here and there and a run or 2... Some 1500 grit wet dry sand paper and 2 good buff jobs and that thing looked damn good!

The two look exactly alike except for the front end. I like the car cause it's unique. It's not the best lookin' import but it's also not just another civic runnin' around.

I agree totally with you....I hate all the Honduh boys and girls drivin around...too many of them....now don't get me wrong...I don't hate every one of them..just the ones that fix up their cars thinking that they will be fast....and a Honduh was designed to be an economical car and not a racer.....so they are defeating the purpose of their car...basically b/c my stock car can outrun them almost no matter what they put under the hood...slight of an engine swap. I like the looks of your car and just like mine, I am sure in the time it was made....it was THE car to have. My first car was a 1985 Honduh Accord....and when it was brand new...it would have been really nice....but the person before me had not taken very good care of it...so it was crap to me, although with investing about $5000 more into it...it became a very good and reliable first car. I say "To each his own." So, I am glad that you apprecieate your car and its uniqueness....and I agree....it is a very pretty car....and I am sure it is pretty fast, too.

I agree. If people want a racey type car, get one. Don't get some econobox that was ment to be a grocery getter. You can make anything fast with enough money, but you can do it smartly just by starting out with something that was ment to take the power you're tryin' to put into it. I've seen a couple hondas which were nice but the money they spent to make 'em like that was rediculous.

I ain't defending Honda's at all... But those Bigger V-Tech motors are nothing to sneeze at... Few engine mod's and u can pump 300+ HP out of them no problem. A lot of times its more fun to take a soso car and turn it into one that will smoke damn near anything it meets in a race... To me it isn't no fun to go out and buy a fast car... If i did that i'd have to do some mods to make it faster. :D

And here's a pic of my driveway minus my Hyundai rice its hidden behind the brush pile...lol Not all of the cars are mine thank god... But that purdy 72 Chev 3/4 ton is mine... She needs some lovin' and is gettin' it soon...

Image

And here's 350 Horses of Detriot lovin'... Ain't nothin rice about this... Again it ain't pretty i was in a hurry last summer to get this running so i could play and i didn't care what it looked like... Have the time and moola this summer to completely strip it down to the frame and do it the way i should have in the first place... Motor will be painted Yellow and all the inner firewall will be black... Med Metallic Green will be the paint job on the truck... All the body will be sandblasted and redone after i get it disassembled... Oh and thats a 65 Pontiac 389 u see here :D 10.5:1 compression 350HP 430 ft lbs or torque... The motor is a little above stock its been rebuilt. Stock was 290hp and 350ft lbs of torque. She needs super unleaded and a 32 oz can of octane boost to run good... reg unleaded it pings and knocks pretty bad... lol
