I love the 300z's! First thing I would do is get some nice rims though There's a guy at the off-topic forums with a gorgous Z. Let me see if I can find a pic...
[edit]
can't seem to find a pic. Just out of curiosity, is it a stick or an auto? And if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it? I'm thinking of selling my '82 supra for an old-school Z. My uncle has one and it's cool. I'm just tired of mine and it has some minor annoyances. I'd really like to get a newer car (because all old cars will have problems) but it doesn't look like I'll be able to afford it.

Hipnotic....
I love 300Z's too...mainly the 1990-1996 ones tho...and they are kewl, cuz you really can't tell any difference between any of the models...even if it is a 1996 (the last year of production) being that they are pretty much the same on exterior styling. I really don't think I am goin to put any "rims" on it because number one...it already has rims and number two...you really don't get any performance gains from new rims....and I don't wanna be like all the rice boyz out there. It is an automatic, but I plan on changing that with a tranny swap. I would much rather drive a stick...but sometimes when I am in traffic here in Atl, I prefer an auto. If you do get an older Z, please take my advice and get a non-turbo...because when you buy a 1990 or older turbo, you are asking for high repair costs when they fail. Either way, good luck on finding your car. Oh, and I paid $10,000 for my Z...and I consider that an excellent deal for my dream car. Most 300Z's that I see in my area are priced more in the 12-13,000 range.
Talk to ya later,
Matt

nice... now THAT's a sport's car!
"You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, and the Swiss hold the America's Cup, France is accusing the U.S. of arrogance, Germany doesn`t want to go to war, and the three most powerful men in America are named Bush, Dick, and Colon... Need I say more?"

I ain't ricey by any means, I jsut think the stock rims don't look that great But I can definitly see putting it off. I'd rather have a manual tranny than a nice set of rims
I love the interior of Z's, love the T-tops: I really like your Z $10k ain't bad at all I don't think. If I had the money thats what I'd buy cuase right now, it's my "dream" car as far as imports go.

Yeah, a 300Z has always been my dream car, and my dream became reality thanks to my Mom on my 21st birthday. I love the car...and yes, it is a true import sports car. It was the dream car of pretty much every guy when it first came out...with an amazing sticker price of $37,500. The one that I have has been pretty much well taken care of, besides a few burn marks on the interior....I wanted to punch the previous owner for that one...and it has very few door dings, for a 9 year old car....I just hate it when people hit my doors with their car doors...shows a total lack of respect that is evident in today's society. Anyways, thanks for the compliments....and good luck on getting a new car. It is amazing how many people turn heads when I drive by in this beauty. The Z's fit well in today's car market, even though they were designed well over 12 years ago!!
Talk atcha later,
Matt
