Think your car will go that far? I won't even try, no thanks as I don't like driving THAT much.
Both that guy and his famous car were at our Volvo dealership last spring and I talked to him about the car until I felt that I knew as much about it as I wanted to know. It's pretty freaky if you ask me and the car looks like it's in good shape for any '66 car even if it was a car with hardly any miles on it.

Seems that he's even driving it more now, probably trying for 3 million miles and yet another free Volvo.
I had a white '62 P1800 in '76-'78 which was similar but assembled in the UK ('61-'63) by Jensen Healy but mine was a hoopdy in comparison, wasn't exactly confortable for long freeway trips either. I drove it from Wyo to here (WI) and to Tampa and back several times, 1,300 miles non-stop which I won't do anymore these days as I'd rather just stop halfway instead now.
