Guess what? :D

I got myself a 350Z over the weekend! Decent deal, Touring edition w/ 3700mi. on it for $29k.
The aero package and the extra crap they spray to "protect the paint and interior" was also in there.

The minute I got the keys in my hand, snow starts coming down. During that night I was fishtailin all the way home... had one 180 degree spin out across 3 lanes (w/ no traffic, whew!). Got home drenched in sweat and almost crapped myself doing it. But my baby is safe and sound. MY GOD IT'S FAST... this is coming from a Civic owner so the change is noticeable :D

Dopey, I love the Z so much that I'd prolly actually move to a better climate if not for the fact that I love my current job in Chitown.

Hellz yeah my peeps are getting a ride at the next PCA LAN :D

Seeing What You Scored..

Post by eGoCeNTRoNiX »

I myself may be looking for a Z before too long. It will take me a good while to save up the money (I want to pay at least $10k down, lets see them refuse to give me a loan with that kind of $$$ down). Got any pics of yours yet Ed? It will probably be a good 1 1/2 years before I can get mine.. :( Oh well, my GA does me good for now.. heh

I've wanted to take some pics but the poor weather here prevents me from doing the Z justice. I actually didn't put anything down but my trade-in.

I went to the dealer w/ my 2K Civic w/ 62k on it (they kinda like the fact it has alarm w/ remote start and a brand new MP3/WMA player w/ remote in there). I asked for $7500 trade-in and got it. Then I had to choose between the Z and the Murano (had to be sensible you know). I told myself I'd get whichever is cheaper is the one I'd get. Then afterwards, it turns out the Murano actually costs me $2k more but has 2.9 finance whereas the Z has 4.9 finance... in other words... the same freakin monthly payment. That's where I threw sensibility out the window and went w/ the Z.

Nice! I think i'd still rather have a 2004 S2000 but the Z's are nice. Bleh who am i kidding. I won't have a sports car for a while unless i win the lotto. Gotta worry about the family ride first. So i'll be lookin' at the VW Passat TDI's... lol

Congrats on the new ride. Yeah, pics dude! :)

First ride home and you already spun out? lol

Must be nice to have that 6th gear, especially for highway driving. Saves on gas and quieter. My Prelude is only 5 speed and up on the highway it revvs to 3.5k at 60mph. Not as good on gas and a bit loud.

I'd pick a Z over a S2000, looks sharper and roomier.
