It's a fake...

NEW FRONT WINDSHIELD WITH NEW FRONT WEATHER STRIPPING AROUND FRONT WINDSHIELD,NEW DIXIE HORN,NEW TIRES,TRUE 15 INCH VECTORS,IT HAS NEW DUAL EXHAUST,A FRESH PAINT JOB,IT HAS THE TIC TAC WHICH IS RARE!IT HAS A STRONG 400 BIG BLOCK
Another fake and the guy's smokin' crack as he wants the "buy now" price of $15K (ALL Ebayers want THAT price when shown with a reserve).

Someone took an old gutted out beasty with a bad engine (as those had either a 383 or 440 if a big block version) and did a makeover trying to make it look like the real thing.

When the seller starts off by mentioning worthless repairs like a windshield and moldings, that's a major turn off in itself as none of that would impress anyone seeking a true classic.

The not original 400 was known to be a low powered "smog motor" (Not a '60s engine btw) compared to a 383 so unless it was totally re-done (and it looks bone stock), it's an un-impressive engine.

The bodywork and paint is probably via Maaco, not done right either.

If you look around on Ebay for classics and better yet, local car shows where you can see the car in person, you can still find those cars in good, original condtion for less money (but no, probably not a REAL General Lee)

Very true, the main reason why it's simply not worth $15K ;)

it has it... but i still would not get it. it probbly has the modern Dixie horns on it. you cant find the metal ones any more. i used to have a set of the modern ones, plastic horns. didnt sound as good but sounded 1000 time better then the digital ones with a speaker.

That car originally had a 383 under the hood. A 400 was not an option for a 1968 Charger. ;)
