Mazda 3

Post by fearfox »

Went test driving some cars, and i drove the mazda 3 and feel in love with it, 4 cylinder pumping 160HP, it has fast pick up, i love the tiptonic transmission , just wondering if any ppl have objections to mazda, are these problematic cars?? i was reading the consumer reports and sounds like an awesome car, rated 9 out of 10. I was wondering since its a japanese car it shouldnt be that bad regarding mechancial failure or recall??

Im thinking of picking one up this coming saturday and getting rid of the 99 integra GSR.

The 3 is the new Protege to say the least. I've been eyeballing the 6s myself. Just really like the way they look. The 3 chassis from what i've read is the same chassis and a Volvo car and the Focus is on. Which is a good chassis. You'll find a lot of ford traits in mazda's these days considering that they own them and all. The Mazda's are as much American as Ford is Japanese anymore.

I saw a blue sport model on the road yesterday, damn that's a nice looking compact car, I'd consider getting one of those for sure...

The 3's a great value... just remember Mazda = Ford... not that I wouldn't buy it myself. It's light and 160 under the hood can pull it around well.
Are you looking at the hatchback or the sedan?

I eat RX7's for lunch :D
